Credit Terms of Use & Refund Policy

Credit Types
GenToon Credits are service tokens used for AI comic creation and come in two types.
Type A Credits — Membership Credits
Credits automatically granted monthly as part of your subscription plan.
- Auto-granted on subscription renewal (Starter 2,000 / Pro 5,000 / Premium 27,000)
- Valid only within the subscription period (1 month); remaining credits expire upon renewal
- Upon subscription cancellation, remaining Type A credits expire at the end of the current period
Type B Credits — Purchased Credits
One-time credits purchased separately from the pricing page.
- Purchased via credit packs (600 / 1,800 / 3,000 / 6,000 credits)
- Valid for 1 year (365 days) from the date of purchase; auto-expire after
- Retained regardless of subscription cancellation; consumed after Type A credits are depleted
Credit Usage
Credits are automatically deducted when using AI features in the studio.
- Priority: Type A (membership) credits are consumed first, then Type B (purchased) credits
- Credit costs: Standard image 18 credits, High-quality image 35 credits, Text generation 1 credit
- Paths: Pricing page → Buy credit pack / Studio → AI image & script generation
Credit Validity Period
Type A (Membership) Credits: Valid only within the subscription period (1 month). Remaining credits expire upon renewal.
Type B (Purchased) Credits: Valid for 1 year (365 days) from the date of purchase. Unused credits are automatically forfeited after expiration.
Refund Policy
Type A (Membership) Credit Refunds
- Upon cancellation, service remains available until the end of the current period; remaining Type A credits expire with it
- Subscription fee is fully refundable within 7 days of payment and only if no credits have been used
- After 7 days or if any credits have been used, no subscription fee refund; service remains until period end
Type B (Purchased) Credit Refunds
- Fully unused: Full refund within 1 year of purchase
- If even 1 credit has been used, Type B credits are non-refundable
- No refund after the validity period (1 year) regardless of usage
Refund method: Refunded to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
Processing time: 3-5 business days from the refund request date.
Purchase Limits
Credit packs are sold in the fixed sizes shown on the pricing page, and you may purchase as many packs as you need. Polar Software Inc., the merchant of record for your purchase, may apply standard per-transaction or fraud-prevention limits at checkout, and any applicable limit is shown before you confirm payment. If a payment is declined or limited, you can complete your purchase in multiple transactions or contact service@gentoon.ai for assistance.
Transfer and Gift Policy
Credits you hold cannot be directly transferred to another user. However, you may use the “Credit Gift” feature to make a separate payment that deposits new credits into another user’s account immediately.
- Direct transfer of held credits between users is prohibited.
- Gift feature: a separate payment by the sender deposits new credits into the recipient’s account immediately.
- Gift payments deliver new credits to the recipient's account immediately, so they are treated as digital content that has already been delivered and are therefore non-refundable. This does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection law of your country or state.
- Gifted credits are added to the recipient’s Type B (top-up) balance and are subject to the standard refund policy of these Terms.
