# View your credit history

See when and where you spent or received credits in “Recent credit history,” and learn how to read each line.

## Overview

**Recent credit history** shows the credits you’ve spent and received, newest first. It’s the first place to look when you’re wondering where your credits went.

## Where to find it

The **Recent credit history** card is at the very bottom of **Account** › **Subscription**.

## Step by step

1. Click your profile photo in the top-right corner and go to **Account**. The Studio doesn’t show your profile photo, so click the GenToon logo at the top left to go home first, then click it.

2. Choose **Subscription** in the menu on the left (on a phone, in the tabs at the top). Your current plan shows at the top, and your history is at the very bottom.

3. In **Recent credit history**, check each line’s type, date, and amount. To see older entries, click **Load more**.

## How to read each line

- **Amount** — credits you received show with +, and credits you spent show with −.
- **Date** — shows the month, day, and time. The year isn’t shown.
- **Type** — tells you what the entry was for, such as **Image creation** or **Credit top-up**. Common names are listed in the table below.

| You pay for a plan (including automatic renewals) · Plan credits are refilled each month without a payment (such as on the free plan or a yearly plan) | **Membership** · **Membership credits** (+) |

| You earn a reward for checking in, publishing, or inviting a friend | **Check-in reward** · **Publishing reward** · **Friend invite reward** (+) |

## Good to know

> **Note:** This card shows your **history** only. To see how many credits you have now, click the coin icon with a lightning bolt at the bottom left of the Studio (your total shows under it). The **My Credits** window that opens shows your balance by type.

> **Note:** If a drawing failed and you weren’t charged, or the credits were returned, that entry is removed from the list. A separate “refund” line isn’t added. If you do see a − line marked **Failed**, the credits may not have come back yet. Note the time and amount and [contact us](https://www.gentoon.ai/en/help/support/contact-support).

> **Note:** When your plan credits are refilled each month, unused plan credits are reset. No deduction line appears for this — you only see the new credits added with +.

> **Tip:** If a reward is taken back — for example, when you remove a like — that reward’s line disappears from the list too.

## FAQ

**There’s a charge I don’t recognize.**

Most unfamiliar charges can be identified from that line’s type and time. If you only drew panels but see a **Character conversion** line, a character was drawn in an art style for the first time, so its picture in that style was made first. That picture is reused for later panels, so you aren’t charged for it again. If you still can’t tell what it was, note the time and amount and [contact us](https://www.gentoon.ai/en/help/support/contact-support). We’ll look into it and get back to you.

**How is this different from billing history?**

**Billing History** shows payments — money that changed hands. This card shows credits. For receipts, see [Payment history and receipts](https://www.gentoon.ai/en/help/credits-and-billing/receipts).

**Can I see it in the app?**

You can see the same **Recent credit history** in the app. Tap the **Profile** tab at the bottom of the app, then **Subscription**, and scroll to the bottom. In the app, recent entries show how long ago they happened, like “3h ago.”
