# Plans at a glance

Compare every plan from Free to Premium: price, monthly credits, how many characters you can keep, and watermarks.

## Overview

You can start GenToon for free. Plans differ in the **plan credits** you get every month, how many characters you can keep, and whether downloads have a watermark.

- On **Pro** and **Premium**, you can create [team workspaces](https://www.gentoon.ai/en/help/teams/workspace-basics) to work with other people.
- **Lite** and higher plans can also be paid **yearly**, which is at least 10% cheaper than paying monthly. [Yearly plans](https://www.gentoon.ai/en/help/credits-and-billing/annual-billing)
- **SNS Auto** in the Studio is available on every plan, but how many social accounts you can connect, how many posts you can publish yourself each week, and whether you can turn on automatic posting depend on your plan. ## Where to find it

Click **Pricing** in the top menu to open the pricing page. Use the **Monthly** / **Yearly** switch at the top to choose how often you pay.

## Subscribing to a plan

1. On the **Pricing** page, choose **Monthly** or **Yearly**.

2. On the **Pricing** page, click the button on the plan you want and complete the payment. Your first payment follows your browser’s language setting, not the site language: if your browser is set to Korean, you pay in Korean won (₩) through Toss Payments; otherwise, you pay in US dollars (US$) through Polar. If you’ve paid before, you continue with the same payment method. If you aren’t signed in, sign in first.

3. Once you complete the payment on **Pricing**, your plan applies right away and your plan credits are added. You can check it in **Account** › **Subscription**.

## Good to know

> **Note:** Plan credits are refilled every month, and anything you don’t use doesn’t carry over to the next month. Yearly plans are paid once a year, but credits are still refilled every month. Credits you buy separately don’t reset each month.

> **Note:** Prices in Korean won include VAT. When you pay in US dollars, tax for your country may be added at checkout.

> **Tip:** In the GenToon app, you can buy credit packs only — memberships aren’t sold in the app. When you sign in with the same account, your plan benefits apply in the app too.

## FAQ

**Do I get credits every month on the free plan?**

The **Free** plan also gets 150 credits every month.

**Can I change plans in the middle of a billing cycle?**

You can change plans in the middle of a billing cycle. Upgrades take effect right away, and downgrades on your next billing date. See [Change your plan](https://www.gentoon.ai/en/help/credits-and-billing/change-plan) for details.

**What happens to my comics if I cancel?**

Your works and characters stay when you cancel. When your paid period ends, you move to the free plan. If you then have more characters than the free plan’s limit (30), none are deleted, but you can’t create new ones until you have fewer than the limit. **Why do prices show in won for some people and dollars for others?**

The price currency follows your browser’s language setting, not the site language. If your browser is set to Korean, prices show in won; otherwise, they show in US dollars, so changing only the site language doesn’t change the currency. If you’ve paid before, prices appear in the currency of the payment method you used.
