Overview

Your community profile is the page people see when they tap on you. It shows your profile photo, display name, @handle, and bio, your Posts, Followers, and Following counts, plus the works and series you’ve published and the characters who appear in them. Characters that haven’t appeared in a published work yet are shown only to you, on your own profile.

Where to find it

  • Click your profile photo in the top-right corner and choose Community Profile.
  • On a wide screen, such as a computer, you can also click your photo and name at the bottom of the menu on the Community page.

Setting up your profile

  1. On your profile, click the pencil icon (Edit Profile) at the bottom-right of your profile photo. You only see it on your own profile.

  2. Use Upload photo to add a photo, or Select from my characters to use one of your characters as your profile picture.

  3. Fill in your Handle (username), Display name, and Bio, then click Save.

The rules for names and handles are explained in Change your name and profile photo.

Sharing your profile

  1. On your profile, click Share profile.

  2. Click Share profile in the share window. On devices with a share menu, such as phones, the share menu opens so you can send it right away; otherwise the link is copied. If the share window shows an invite reward, your invite is included in the link, so you and a friend who signs up through it for the first time can both earn rewards. Invite friends and earn rewards

Other people’s profiles

On someone else’s profile, you can follow them with Follow, or block them by clicking the ⋯ button (More) at the top of their profile and choosing Block. Clicking Share profile on someone else’s profile copies a link to it.

FAQ

Can I hide a published post from my profile?
You can’t hide a published post from your profile alone. To hide it, click Delete on the post to take it down from the community. The project stays in your Studio.
What’s the difference between a display name and a handle?
Your display name is the big name people see, and it can be the same as someone else’s. Your handle is the unique ID after the @, so no one else can have the same one.
