Overview

When Zennyang breaks your story into panels, a “Scenario ready” card appears. Think of it as the blueprint for your comic: the art is drawn from what’s on the card, so give it a careful look before you draw. Editing the card doesn’t cost any credits.

What’s on the card

The card’s title shows the total number of panels, or the number of pages if your scenario puts several panels on each image. Below that, every panel (or page) has these sections. If a panel is folded into a short summary, click its Edit button (or the summary itself) to open it, then edit.

SectionWhat it is
SceneWhat happens in the panel. It guides the drawing, but it never appears as text on the image.
BackgroundA short note on where it happens. You can also attach an image to use as the background.
💬 Dialogue & narration (shown as text on the image)The text that goes into the art as speech bubbles and narration.

Edit the scene and setting

  1. Click the Scene text to change what happens in the panel.

  2. In Background, jot down the place, time, weather, and so on.

  3. If a panel has to happen in one specific place, click Attach image right below the Background box. If an image is already attached, click Change instead. Pick a setting you’ve saved in a world, or click Upload a photo to upload a photo.

Edit the dialogue

  • Click a line to edit it in place, or use the delete button next to it to remove it.
  • To add a line, choose who says it (Narration or one of the characters), type it, and click the add button.
  • On a character’s line you can choose a bubble style (Normal, Shout, Whisper, or Thought) and an Expression. On a narration line you can choose the box style (Square caption or Rounded caption).
  • If a panel has no dialogue, you can turn its scene sentence into narration with Show on the image.

Change a page’s panel layout

Click the panel layout tag on a page to choose how many panels it has and how they’re arranged.

  • Before you pick a layout, choose This page only, This and later pages, or All pages above the layouts. The layout you pick next is applied to those pages at once.
  • Use Set it yourself to set the number of rows and panels per row, then click Use this layout.
  • To draw the panel shapes yourself, choose Draw your own panels. See Split a page into panels.
  • To keep using the same layout for this comic from now on, click Save as this work’s layout.

Start drawing

  1. When you’re done checking, click Draw as-is. The button shows the number of panels (or pages) and the estimated credit range from Standard to Pro.

  2. On the How should I draw it? Choose based on credit cost. screen, choose Standard mode or Pro mode. Each shows the price per image and the total.

  3. Drawing starts as soon as you pick one. To go back to the card without drawing, click Back.

FAQ

I want to add or remove panels.
Just tell Zennyang in the chat, and it will rework the scenario with more or fewer panels for free. While the card is showing, say something like “Cut it down to 5 panels” or “Add one more panel at the end.”
It says I don’t have enough credits instead of showing the draw button.
When you have fewer credits than one image costs, a top-up notice replaces the draw button. Your scenario stays as it is and you can keep editing it. Top up on the Pricing page, then draw from the same card.
I’m not sure whether to pick Standard or Pro.
If you’re just starting, draw a quick draft in Standard mode and redraw only the panels you’re not happy with in Pro mode. Each redrawn panel costs that mode’s per-image price again. For how the two differ, see Choose Standard or Pro.
