Overview

You can see your payments in Billing History. A receipt is emailed to you automatically every time you pay. For other documents, such as a tax invoice, contact support.

Where to find it

Go to Account › Billing History to see your recent payments. Each line shows what it was for, the type (Subscription, Credit Purchase, Refund, or Plan Change), the date, the status, and the amount.

Billing History

Step by step

  1. Click your profile photo in the top-right corner and go to Account.

  2. Choose Billing History in the menu on the left to see your payments.

  3. If you need a receipt, look for the receipt email you got when you paid. If you can’t find it or need a different document, see the section for your payment method below.

Receipts by payment method

If you paid in Korean won (₩)

  • After each payment, you get a confirmation email. When your subscription renews or you buy or gift credits, GenToon emails a receipt with the order number, product, date and time, payment method, and amount paid. When you first subscribe or move to a higher plan, our payment provider, Toss Payments, emails you the payment details.
  • If you need a tax invoice or a cash receipt, request one through Contact us under Payment Inquiry. Which documents you can get depends on how you paid. For card payments, the card sales slip serves as your proof of purchase. Including your business registration details and the payment date speeds things up.

If you paid in US dollars (US$)

  • Dollar payments are processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.) as the merchant of record. Polar emails you a receipt after each payment.
  • If you need a VAT or GST invoice for business purposes, you can request it from Polar directly or from service@gentoon.ai.

If you paid in the app

Apple or Google send receipts for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play — check your purchase history in that store. Credit packs you buy in the app also appear in Billing History as Credit Purchase. For the exact amount and currency you paid, check the store receipt.

FAQ

I didn’t get a receipt email.
Receipt emails often land in the spam or promotions folder. Receipts for payments on the website go to the email address on your GenToon account; for purchases in the app, they go to the email of your Apple or Google account. If you signed up with Apple and chose to hide your email, emails may not be delivered. If Your email isn't reaching you appears at the top of the website, enter an address that works and click the link in the confirmation email sent there. After that, receipts from GenToon go to that address. If you still can’t find it, contact us with the payment date and amount.
I think I was charged twice.
If it’s a duplicate charge, we’ll refund it. Check that both lines show Completed in Billing History, then contact us with the time and amount of each. If you paid in the app (App Store or Google Play), Apple or Google handles refunds, so request one from your purchase history in that store.
Can I get a tax invoice in my company’s name?
It depends on how you paid. If you paid in Korean won, contact us under Payment Inquiry with your business details and the payment date, and we’ll tell you which document fits how you paid. For card payments, the card sales slip serves as your proof of purchase. If you paid in US dollars or in the app, see the sections for those payment methods above.
